Come and shoot with us!
|
Čekanice Shooting Club is situated on the outskirts of the historical city of Tabor, approximately 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of Prague, the capitol of the Czech Republic. It is a long established open air shooting range, where you can shoot at distances of up to 100 metres. We are a members club, run by the members, and all fees are ploughed back into facility. There are 40 firing points, 20 for short arms and 20 for rifles, approved for all calibers up to .45. Of the 20 short arm points, 8 have facility for turning targets. As from next year (2008), following some improvements to the range, it should even be possible to shoot fully automatic guns, e.g. submachine guns, assault rifles, etc. The club members own a range of attractive weapons, from black powder to the most modern ones. You will find here percussion rifles and revorvers, short and long arm of both WWs, and modern short and long arms (including semiautomatics) from calliber .22 up to .50. Under the Czech gun law, non holders of a Czech Firearms Certificate can shoot at the club under the guidance of experienced club members. The club has a rustic bar with light refreshments, an outside grilling and spit roasting faciliti, and a car park with the capacity of about 30 cars. There is a wide range of accomodation available in Tabot, which we would be happy to book for you. Further informationabout the club activities can be found at www.skcekanice.com, and about the city of Tabor at www.tabor.cz. You can also contact directly our english speaking member, Josef Bilek, at jomekabi@gmail.com, tel. +420 728 039 900.
